From an early age, I was exposed to the world of competitive volleyball through my mother, who played in a coed volleyball league when I was 7-8 years old and even brought me along to play sometimes.

 

Just before I started High School, my family moved to Arizona where I joined Mountain Pointe High School’s volleyball team where I played varsity my junior and senior year.  During my senior season, I obtained a volunteer position as an assistant coach for two aspire teams. I really enjoyed being a coach and teaching the players through my experiences.

 

Last year, I  was the head coach for two club teams and helped assist three others – all of varying levels, which helped me grow in understanding the needs each athlete has.
